The purpose of the HMHC is to develop interest in, and promote the miniature horse breed; to promote and develop good fellowship and sportsmanship between the members of the HMHC and other affiliated clubs as well as other people and organizations; to encourage excellence in the breeding, training, and exhibition of good quality miniature horses; to cooperate equine breeding registries, and preserve the heath and welfare of the miniature horse.
